Gray Covert is a nonbinary designer, artist, and scholar from Denver, Colorado. They recently graduated from Masson Gross School of the Arts at Rutgers University with a BFA in fine arts for theater, focusing on Costume Design and Technology. They believe that as representation on screen and stage grows, there must be people behind the scenes supporting and advocating so the community can flourish together. They focus on telling stories through understanding the historical and social context of what we wear. Their design credits include a section of Boris Gudunov (Modest Mussorgsky), a section of Faust (Charles Gounod), The Don Nigro Play Cycle (Don Nigro), Cabaret! (Joe Masteroff), House and Garden (Alan Ayckbourn), and The 25th Anual Putnam County Spelling Bee (Rachel Sheinkin and William Finn).
